'Cloud Nine design' was created out of a desire to produce high quality Cross Stitch Kits and Charts.

All our designs are from original watercolours painted by Staffordshire artist Sheila Adams, and our aim is to make them fun to stitch. We put the needs of our customers first . If we don't enjoy stitching it, we change the design.

Sheila Adams gained her National Diploma of Design in 1964. She has been teaching painting for the last 30 years, and has exhibited her work on both sides of the Atlantic. She is now directing her talent to cross stitch, bringing a breath of fresh air and an innovative approach to a popular craft.

Val Wroe has been designing Cross Stitch and Needlecraft kits under the name of 'RoseCraft' since 1992, and has created designs for National Trust properties in England. She also teaches and runs courses in needlecrafts in Staffordshire.

'Cloud Nine design' was a sponsor of 'World of Cross Stitching' magazine's Retailer of the Year Competition 2000, and 2001, the 2002 , and 2003 Cross Stitching Awards, and at present is a sponsor of the 2004 Cross Stitching Awards.

We have designed exclusive cross stitch pictures of their own shop fronts for the 'Retailers of the Year'.
